Why does the face produce excess oil?
Oily skin is known to cause clogged pores and acne. The most common cause of excessive facial oil is the overproduction of sebum by the sebaceous glands; which is located under the skin’s surface.
How to use oil blotting papers:
- Press it firmly but gently against the shiny areas of your face
- Leave the blotting paper against your skin for a few seconds while the sheet absorbs the oil
- To avoid removing makeup, don’t rub or move the paper
- Use a new sheet on other areas of your face if necessary
- Repeat this process every couple of hours if necessary
